Overview

Project Scope: ATP Science is a high-quality supplement producer and distributor looking to grow their online business in North America through a multi-channel approach. The project required redesigning and developing their current website into a region-specific,  multi-site facility while maintaining a consistent global brand and presence.

PROJECT CHALLENGES

  • Ecommerce functionality for multiple channels such as shipping, taxes, global payment method customisation, integration with regional accounting systems.
  • In order to handle Google Analytics separately, subdomain (eg au.domain.com) were used for each of the countries.
  • Woocommerce’s (as shop engine) geolocation detector was used to redirect visitors to country specific domains from the global domain.

PROJECT SOLUTION PROVIDED

  • WooCommerce Multisite enabled the client to create content specific online shops content and functionality for their regional markets.
  • The use of a WordPress multi-site enabled the client to create and run multiple websites using the same WordPress account and allowed for streamlined management of regional content. marketing campaigns and user groups. 

OVERALL OUTCOME

  • Successfully designed, developed and host a user friendly, robust development, scaleable solution using a WP muti-site enabling the client to manage content & campaigns specific to each region whilst maintaining their brand globally.
  • We developed separate sites for the AU, US, NZ and UK markets while streamlining site management and maintenance through the use of a single CMS.
  • We enabled ATP Science to generate significant online sales growth through the implementation of region-specific content, marketing campaigns and payment options alongside Google shopping, data feeds, targeted Facebook ads and SEO.

HELLO MANLY – NORTHERN BEACHES COUNCIL

OVERVIEW

Project Scope: Hello Manly is the official visitor’s information site for Manly and the Northern Beaches of Sydney. Their current website was built on a Joomla platform which had become outdated and difficult to manage. A redesign and rebuild of the website was required on an open-source platform to allow for future functionality. A mobile-friendly design was imperative as 64% of traffic accessing the current site did so through mobile.

PROJECT CHALLENGES

  • The website needed to be well-structured in order to meet a variety of needs (local tourism operators, local businesses, industry partners and visitors to Manly) along with providing clear, concise information to future and present visitors accessing information on their mobiles. The site also needed to accommodate use by people of varying skill levels during the project management process.

PROJECT SOLUTION PROVIDED

  • We designed & developed a custom WordPress/Woo website which allowed content to be easily uploaded and managed by users of varying technical experience. The custom designed theme allowed us to deliver a website that provided a seamless experience to end users.
  • A mobile responsponsive website easily accessible on phones & tablets.
  • A website that reflects the Hello Manly’s brand’s key marketing themes and  visual identity in-line with that of the wider Northern Beaches Council, while also serving as a gateway to the area that connects visitors with local tourism operators and educate them about the area’s sustainability vision.

OVERALL OUTCOME

  • Magicdust produced an easy-to-use, accessible website optimised for a high level of community engagement.
  •  A mobile friendly,  functional website that provides information resources for industry partners and stakeholders within the community, while motivating newsletter subscription and interaction with social media channels.

PROJECT CHALLENGES

Two Men and a Truck enlisted our services because they wanted to increase their growth with an online strategy that would put them on the same playing field as their key competitors.

Mainly, they wanted more leads. An obstacle to this was the high level of competition in the removalist industry, because there are so many companies in Australia.

They also wanted to boost their positive reviews even further (the smallest inconveniences tend to be highlighted in negative reviews for removalist companies).

PROJECT SOLUTON PROVIDED

We decided to deploy a multi-faceted strategy, driven by hard data and extensive research:

  • Fixed the site architecture of the website.
  • Identified the best keywords to target and deployed SEO.
  • Improved site navigation to handle the new surge in traffic. The website was updated to cater to the user journey that we mapped out in the first 18 months.
  • Quality link building.
  • Improved client reviews: listened to what people were saying and implemented solutions within the company. Two Men then asked clients for reviews based on the new process we implemented.
  • PPC with Google Ads: ran a strategic campaign with more cost-effective clicks for different locations.
